Cursor connects to Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers on Hobby, Pro, Pro Plus, Ultra, Teams, and Enterprise through local and remote MCP configuration.

MCP servers are configured in-editor or via mcp.json. Pricing markets MCPs under paid Individual tiers, but product docs and help document MCP setup without a Hobby exclusion. Enterprise adds MCP allowlists/access controls.
Connects to external Model Context Protocol servers and makes their tools or resources available to the product.
An official MCP server published by a vendor is not the same as that vendor product acting as an MCP client.
