Does Claude Code support Browser control?
Claude Code can control a browser through the Claude in Chrome extension on Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise for navigation, clicks, form fill, debugging, and data extraction.
What this state means
Selected plans, with the qualification kept attached.
Requires Claude in Chrome extension and /login with a direct Anthropic plan. Not available with API-key or long-lived token auth alone, or through third-party providers (Bedrock, Vertex, Foundry) without a separate claude.ai account. Not supported in WSL.
Can operate a browser through navigation, clicking, typing, or equivalent interaction tools.
Reading a webpage or running a preview does not by itself establish general browser-control support.
Researcher note
Path A: code.claude.com Chrome docs + support Claude in Chrome article. Product API plan excluded because Chrome docs require a direct Anthropic plan and disable Chrome under API-key auth.
